The overall purpose of the Corporate Director of Revenue Management position is to develop and implement Revenue Management strategies for all hotels within ONE Lodging Management's portfolio, with the overarching objectives of increased market share and the achievement of top line budget goals for each property.
The Corporate Director of Revenue Management will be responsible for ensuring that ONE Lodging Management's revenue management philosophy is consistently applied in the field. This will be accomplished by working in a hands on manner, and in partnership with Regional Revenue Managers, Regional Directors of Operations, General Managers, property level Directors of Sales and Area DOSs.
The Corporate Director of Revenue Management will oversee the Regional Revenue Management team, ensuring that our strategies are sound and that we are taking the right revenue management approach in each of our markets to ensure growth in RevPAR Index.
The Corporate Director of Revenue Management is viewed as a versatile and flexible company asset, with a broad range of operational and leadership skills. They will coordinate and work on various projects and initiatives, as dictated by the Vice President of Sales. They will also serve as an interim company resource for hotels who are without incumbent revenue management leadership, or to fill in during vacations and when PTO is taken. As they are not committed to a 'base' hotel, they will be dispatched to assist various properties based upon organizational need, either to fill a gap in the absence of permanent revenue management leadership, or to provide support for a distressed property.
The Corporate Director of Revenue Management will be expected to have proficiency in all three of the major brands' Revenue Management systems (Marriott, Hilton and IHG). They will develop customized strategies for revenue optimization by analyzing market mix, demand drivers, market conditions and other factors impacting each property's competitive landscape. They will provide leadership, guidance and direction and will offer advisement in the areas of pricing, distribution, and inventory control.
Under the direction of the Vice President of Sales and Revenue Management, the Corporate Director of Revenue Management will work to maximize RevPAR through effective management of room inventory and pricing strategies.
