Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA)GMA is hiring a Coordinator for our growing SmartLabel Program.We are seeking candidates to coordinate the daily administrative and customer support work of SmartLabel – GMA’s trademarked brand portal for consumer information. The person who steps into this opportunity will work with the SmartLabel team to build the program through meetings and events, educate customers and consumers, ensure site integrity and audit compliance, and provide hands-on customer service support. At SmartLabel you will:•Facilitate SmartLabel requests – Respond timely to prospective brand owners, service and solutions providers and consumers to track and analyze requests, understand trends in program usage and report on growth metrics regularly.•Process SmartLabel licensing agreements and payments – Prepare and facilitate approvals and payments. Maintain and update files and ensure appropriate documentation is readily available.•Become a SmartLabel implementation expert – Assist users with initial set-up and help them with updates and corrections. Suggest improvements and recommend solutions based on experience implementing the program. •Keep the SmartLabel website current – Reflect the growth of the program with up-to-date brand URL links and logos. Ensure site content is accurate, current and working.•Provide administrative support to all meetings and events – Create and edit presentations, develop materials and agendas for webinars and meetings, ensure event logistics are planned and coordinated cross-functionally. Follow through with on-site support. Interact with members and prospective to best represent and promote the program.
The best candidates for this position will have at least 1 year of related work experience that demonstrates ability to thrive in a start-up business environment. You must possess top-notch technical skills, attention to detail, ability to organize a busy desk and shift priorities as the situation demands. Your strong interpersonal and written communication skills with a leaning toward customer service and problem solving will come in handy. You must be action oriented and proactive to anticipate needs before they become crises. Most of all you must love CPG and want to help the industry build a better platform to share information and educate consumers. We will expect that you have advanced proficiency using MS Suite of office applications such as Outlook, Explorer, PowerPoint and Excel. Our choice for this role will possess well-developed critical thinking ability. We need a person who can ensure up-to-date data and turn it into compelling reports and presentations.
