We seek a Manager of Instagram - a talented and committed individual who will engage AMADC members, prospective members and marketers via this social media channel. You will be the voice for one of the largest AMA chapters, part of a team working together to grow the organization and advance the marketing community.
This position will report to the Director of Social Media.
Own the channel: publish posts regularly, monitor activity, interact with community, respond promptly to outreach.
Coordinate all communications on the channel: ensure balance in frequency and variety in content of posts, write and customize copy for posts to maintain consistency in voice.
Look for new ways to grow channel and increase brand awareness and engagement.
Opportunity to do on-site coverage of events.
Other tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated experience in social media, marketing and/or communications
Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
Flexible, creative team player willing to step into whatever is required to get the job done
Knowledge of and commitment to AMADC and professional development desired
Previous experience with social media for a business/non-profit a plus
Estimated Hours per Week: 1-2
This is an unpaid, voluntary position that requires about 1-2 hours per week. AMADC volunteers get benefits such as:
